I drove home from Boston University in Columbus, OH. I take my full size mattress and box spring and tie when I was on the roof of my Toyota Sienna van rack. Is it advisable to take over such a long trip? What is the best way to ensure mattress?

First I tried to wrap it all into something that protects against wind and weather. A kind of plastic or tape securely. I) two or three tie straps (ratchet strap from the hardware store. Put the mattress on the first truck with the bed on this one. Ratchet anything with a belt. Be sure to pull the belt down so hard that it broke the box spring, it will break if too tight. Remember to put the front to the rear. I do not know how many times I saw people on the street with the mattress welcomes all!
